Winter Tummy Warmer

Hey everyone! I know this is a bit random and i breaking topic but i just couldn’t help it… Plus, i figured there isn’t a person out there who around the holidays, wouldn’t like to find out about a few new tasty snacks. Yes! you guessed it, this is a baking blog post. Dont worry, its nothing too complicated (trust me, im a worse cook than you… i burnt ramen once… yes ramen… on fire) So ill try to keep it simple… for the both of us! The first fun holiday thing i have to share is my FAVORITE winter (well i guess fall) drink right now. Ever had a craving for something salty AND sweet like oh i dunno… say popcorn and nutella? Well look no further, i have the perfect solution. A salted caramel hot chocolate. If you’ve ever had the salted caramel mocha from Starbucks (mmm) then i can guarantee you’ll love this almost as much as i do (its even got less caffeine for those of you out there who like me, have enough energy as it is). Well anyways! lets get down to it!

*Note… not only is this easy but it takes no time to make!*

What you’ll need…


Your favorite mug!

Hot chocolate mix (yup were keeping it simple folks)

Natural cane sugar

Sea salt

Caramel sauce

Whipped cream


First off, pick your mug! Now take 2 tsp. of caramel sauce (you can add more or less depending on your preference… Basically all this does is coats the bottom of the mug.) Now turn on your stove and heat one cup of milk with three tbs. of the hot cocoa mix. Stir it up! Now comes the fun part. Take your mug and pour the hot cocoa in. Stir again 🙂 i love to stir things. Add whipped cream to taste (personally i like tons). Now sprinkle in just a little sea salt… Not too much, as its so strong all ready as well as some sugar (usually just a packet of “in the raw” will do). And then feel free to drizzle on some more caramel. And taa daa! Your set to drink. Enjoy!c7e8afffd7ed43f7939570f4c796838c
